Welcome to my website
Here you will find a collection of landscape images taken on my travels. The majority are from across Northern England, and in particular my beloved Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales and coast.....plus a few from around Hebrides, Ireland and Europe. Also highlighted are some from a wonderful week in Northumberland in 2007 and my latest trip to the Isles of Scilly.
My intent in all the images is both to capture a level of detail but more importantly to capture the feeling of the place….the spirit of the land. At times this means exploring impressionistic treatments of the original photographic image
